*uncertainly pokes side of window*
Welcome.
I’d say it’s good to see you, but that would just be silly. Um...... the internet is happy to see you? Ouch. I know. I’m kicking myself for that one. Let’s start over.
Welcome.
This is my first blogspot. I’m quite used to the features of my livejournal, and I’m hesitant to try this new format. Still, new circumstances call for new blogs. Or something like that. This does not mean I’ll be abandoning my LJ though. For now, I will temporarily use it for reviews and bitching, two things which are rarely separate. I will mention that I’m currently listening to ‘Ben Folds Live’ which is has every right to be as awesome as it is.
This is my travel blog. Or something like that. I’m using the heading “global adventures” just in case I go on any adventures in the great Canadian frontier. If I can figure out how to backdate on this thing, I might put up the German misadventures. If I can’t, this will just be a record of my adventures from India onwards. I figure that’s as good a place as any to start. I mean, it’s freakin’ India! COME ON!!
My internet situation here in New Delhi is disturbingly limited. As a result, I plan to write posts off-line, which is trickier than it sounds considering that there is usually a cat demanding cuddling no matter where I am. I think they love my new (to me) Toshiba as much as I do. I’m not sure if I’ll be uploading posts individually or a bunch at a time. Probably both. Deal with it.
I haven’t had an opportunity to explore the blogspot format yet. Once I do, my format will probably become much more intricate and attractive. Preferably in a William Morris style. Yes. For now, I will give it a Beckett-like simplicity. It is nothing more than it is. Did I mention that I failed Beckett?
Okay, that’s enough (pointless) introductory expository for the moment. The next few entires shall be a series of blanket posts covering what I’ve been up to in New Delhi for the past couple of weeks.
Peace out.
